I followed the link (many thanks for that) and ordered this as I could not afford some of the other prices on e-bay. It arrived within 2 days of me being notified of its dispatch...really impressed! It seems to be ok apart from a very faint line down the front cover at the end of the "R" of Reacher running all the way down. This is only visible if you squint your eye and angle it to the light. Very nice steelbook.

That would be the defect that affected the 1st 500 ES copies

As I said, it's very difficult to see unless your really being picky and squint your eye a lot! Lol! Just glad I got it for the price I did as some of the prices on e-bay are just plain crazy. I was out at work when it went live to purchase on Play, so grateful for this opportunity.

I had two now with the line, I can't be bothered to send the 2nd one back too. It's really not that noticeable now when I look at it.

I got mine today and have the same problem. I hope Amazon.fr replaces mine.

Its such a shame considering how awesome this steelbook is. I like the artwork, the embossing, and the glossy finish. I don't like the scratches/defects. Here are some of the scratches, and the defect that the first 500 apparently have.
