I think all that Korean steel buying probably helped out there mate. Navigating a checkout system at lightning speed before a title goes OOS provides pretty good training.

The way it worked for me was I had two browsers open up to 10 minutes before the group buy went live, 1) for the Steelbook thread and 2) for the Group Buy thread.

About 3 minutes before the group buy went live I closed the browser for the steelbook and went to to the group buy thread. One minute before it went live, I just kept refreshing until I saw the thread. Don't write much, but enough to get a post in there because you can go back and edit your response with your exact request. Hope that helps someone.

I'm very glad I got in at #29 I work graveyard shift and I got home this morning and set my alarm to 2:45 PM so I can be ready to refresh the hell out of my iPad. It worked so it was well worth it, even though I'll end up being grumpy the rest of the day for not getting enough sleep

The Saturday and Sunday evening in all world the people are with friend,girlfriend out of home, the afternoon are at home.
In the week Usually at the 3:00 AM the people sleeping.

I agree that the times for tomorrows schedules are a little unfair to UK/Europe! Maybe we could do the same or similar time as today's. I mean I would think that tomorrow's schedule will be taken up by US members. I don't think many people will stay up until 3am for a 2/3 minute scramble!

We could even have done 150 to Ninja's and 50 to everyone else! If nothing else at least it would show the value in becoming a HDN ninja!

Honestly guys, what will solve this whole thing is if you take ALL this energy you have right now, and put it into lobbying movie studios and / or retailers to partner with Hidefninja.com to create an exclusive steelbook run.

Because then we'll have enough copies of a release to satisfy everyone - although I will say there's a lot of folks out there that doubt we can sell a limited run.

I think you have to remember this is not HiDefNinja's group buy. I approached Kevin to assist, but it's his project, 100%. So how he wants to handle it - that is how we do it.

Honestly I think we've definitely improved on that last GB.

I think your missing the point! Surly partnering up with HDN is for another day and it's a great idea, but our main problem is the way these GB's for the JR Steels are timed to start! Can the times not be changed to benefit everyone in Europe and the US? I'm sure even our American friends would agree the times for tomorrow seem a little bit one sided!

GB was open to all members. It is sad that ninjas may miss out. I do not think it is a good idea to guarantee ninjas a copy. As is the case in all other GBs open to all works best. Just my humble opinion
