I emailed Luke @ Entertainment Store to see if he could get an exclusive sticker on the repressed 500 copies and this was his response:

Wow just been reading the past few pages of posts, wish HMV would have taken a leaf out of Entertainment Stores book when it comes to customer service! Didn't get this myself but this is great news for the fellow collectors who did. Does worry me though that now certain people who only buy steels to make money will be conning people by selling their defective copies

My replacement copy arrived today, spine was slash free but obviously the defect on the front is there. Wish I could have compared them because I'm sure the scratch is a bit fainter. Will definetly open this one now and then probably give it to a friend when the reprint arrives.

Once again, it is a small outfit doing minimal runs. Not like they are going to send out free 4K or 8K replacements.

Hadn't even noticed the defect tbh. Didn't have time to check my copy last night. These guys appear to be trying to top Bert at movies-blu-ray.nl for amazing service.

But unfortunately I received one with slashed spine, otherwise it's in perfect condition. But I say this again: how can they be so careless with the products they are selling to people? It's like they don't even care.

Well I'm glad some people are happy because I'm certainly not.

I still haven't received my original copy which now has to be presumed lost, no replacement is being sent for this and I've been charged last week for something I'm now not going to receive for another month. Poor.

Yeah apparently the original copies have now been 'quarantined' in the warehouse so no chance of getting one of those. Luke has sent me out the Blu ray disc today from a damaged return so I can watch the film at least. If you're looking to watch the film, you should ask him about this too.

I'm also in Manchester too, dunno whether that's just a coincidence. I'm still hopeful it might turn up eventually.
