oh, and that was the standard one with manufacture defect. i let my copy go to a fellow collector for cost price since i'll be getting a free replacement.

i wonder what the perfect ones will be worth when available as i dont reckon many will be selling them.

I don't regret it one bit either as I enabled a fellow collector to get it. I still haven't seen the film and I can't wait until my replacement comes so I can watch lol

To be honest you can't even tell there's a mark on them, the scratch is so damn fine, you really have to get a magnifying glass out to see it properly. It's more so to do with the retailer. This is the first steelbook from ES, and people will be wanting more. I'm willing to bet that if i listed a perfect copy it would go for the same crazy money. Luckily for me I've got 2, and I've got 2 more on the way.

I'm only gutted now that ES didn't send the replacements when I asked them to originally, had they done so I'd have the 2 defective copies, the 2 defective replacements plus the 2 new flawless copies once they're sent out. But eh oh, I shouldn't be too greedy

Dude honestly, I really had to get a magnifying glass out to see it... It's really hard to spot with the naked eye.

This is a definite grail for sure.

I can, and I think H&G will sell for even more. Think about it, Thor UK and CA UK sell for over £100 each now, and they have the same artwork worldwide and with a much bigger print run than 1000. People may laugh, but I do think the 2 ES releases will be considered grails one day.

How people going crazy about that dubious scratch and their multiple copies and additional replacements, which are going to have other imperfections perhaps (which are going to be replaced also I guess ) is just totally insane and hilarious.

Stamp collectors look for rare 'mistakes'. The first release of the ES version of Jack Reacher has a 'defect', a small one that will probably not be repeated in other countries. (extreme?) collectors presumably see this as a rare steelbook. A little UK steelbook history...

Has anyone had confirmation that the reprints will also contain the blu ray disc, rather than just a replacement case?
