Old infos:
Note About Ordering From Entertainment Store said:
They will ONLY DELIVER TO UK ADDRESSES AT THE MOMENT.

A way around this: (confirmed by retailer thats its ok)

1) Order directly but add a UK HDN members address for delivery
OR
2) Ask a UK HDN member to kindly order it for you

So please be careful when ordering because if you've put an address outside the UK your order will be most likely be cancelled by Play.

2hrs still to go and the next one is already at £155. This could well be the long awaited birth of a new Grail.

Another BIN has just gone for £160!

Has anyone had confirmation that the reprints will also contain the blu ray disc, rather than just a replacement case?

Ouch, that would hit these sales hard

I've got my copy still sealed just cause I haven't had chance to watch it yet.
These prices, with promise of another copy on the way, must be making more people than me think about selling.

The price has basically tripled in the space of 24 hours. I suppose the question is whether the prices level out here, go back down once the other 500 are released, or whether they continue going up. If you only have one copy you wish to sell, time it right. :naughty:

There's one on eBay with 25min left and it's at $241.32

And I bet it's the "defective" copy

It has to be defective, entertainment store said every copy has the defect, just some are worse than others, the replacements not out till end of May. Just can't believe the price of these with the defect, glad that some of the sellers are informing you of the defect.

Stamp collectors look for rare 'mistakes'. The first release of the ES version of Jack Reacher has a 'defect', a small one that will probably not be repeated in other countries. (extreme?) collectors presumably see this as a rare steelbook. A little UK steelbook history...

Stamp collectors look for rarity, the stamps with small mistakes nearly always are rare because the print run that they come from gets recalled or cancelled therefore the stamps with mistakes are rare.

It's not the mistake that makes it valuable it's the rarity.

Yes, prices of this have gone crazy. Everyone seems to be listing their copies now.

Price will go down once the replacements are issued.

The people that are paying top dollar for this are no doubt not aware of the new batch coming at the end of May.

The defect has no impact on Ebay prices as some are suggesting, just the number of the original print run. Simple supply and demand principals.

Can't say I agree with that, I think the defect definitely affects the price.

Anyway, this is turning into another eBay thread so let's keep it on topic :)

Maybe those who don't own it can answer the question; which one would they prefer to get, defect or no defect?

Don't own one and looking to buy the Korean one if it is going to happen :D

If I actually bought this particular one, I would probably sell it right now and buy another copy (be it Korean, German or whatever else) and a couple more other steels. Would prefer one without a defect. Hope that helps ;)

At these prices, I don't know whether to sell mine, as I am desperate for a Captain America sealed HMV, to complete my super heroes and as these are selling higher than Captain, it would fund it, what should I do guys.

Hmmm, Something doesn't seem right about this. Why would it all of a sudden shoot well over £100 in the last 24-48 hrs? All other copies have been going for between £40-60 on average.

Don't think it'll hold this value, at least not in the short term anyway.
