just because theres only 500 about at the moment, wont be long before theres none on ebay, even with the 500 replacements 1000 will be sitting on peoples shelves in no time and these will pop up for silly prices just because its a low print and its a uk entertainment store first exclusive.

I think we can know it from the age logo . Correct me if i'm wrong.

I personally don't think the artwork is that good, however i just had to have one to complete my collection, unlucky i missed out from ES but i did manage to get one on ebay for £50 just before the prices skyrocketed!

It's worth noting though, just because people are asking for £150 it doesn't mean they'll get it, the last auction on ebay UK went for £86, and some more have just been listed at £99 or best offer.

I sold mine this weekend for a little less than that. Purely due to the replacement coming our way. I couldn't afford to not sell it right now due to the going rate.....for some reason....

thats what i would recommend to more of the JR owners: sell it as long as the price is high and the steel hyped

Just got the Czech version from carllenc's gb today. Was a little surprised to find out it was all english on the j-card, not a single czech word.

I thought this was the only one with english writing, except Australia of course.

Whenever I receive a SteelBook, I check it over meticulously, as I did with this one. I saw nothing out of the ordinary, so I shelved it

If Entertainment Store hadn't eMailed me about it, I wouldn't have known any different. As soon as I received the eMail, I went and double-checked, and triple-checked my SteelBook, but couldn't find anything. I then Googled "Jack Reacher SteelBook Scratch" to find out exactly where I should be looking. It was eventually a YouTube video that led me to find a very very hairline mark, but only when held up to the light in such a way

In all honesty, I don't think it's anything to worry about. However, I do think that the depth of the scratch may vary between releases, and it may be more prominent on other people's SteelBooks. I've seen worse (Ie, the Red Dwarf X G1 HMV exclusive)


Does anyone know whether Entertainment Store are replacing just the SeelBooks? Or the whole package (including Blu-Ray disc and J-card)? I presumed the former, as that's what's damaged and not the discs. If that's the case, then a lot of people who flogged their scratched one already will be quite disappointed if all they receive is an empty SteelBook case!
