Being a Japanese steel enthusiast, I wanted to open the floor to everyone who wants to talk about anything Japanese steels.

Share pics (cause mine are terrible quality), ask questions, and maybe learn a thing or two. Heck I wouldn't even think there'd be a problem if you have any really cool slipcovers to

Maybe somebody will even start threads for other countries :)

Hope to hear from y'all soon!

Mike

If that's the case, then I'm seriously gonna get the Iron Sky with Gold Slip. I already missed the steelbook :(, but not the limited edition :D. Never bought any digipacks from Japan though. If they are really that cool, then I think I better start collecting digibooks too :naughty:

FYI, digipak's and digibook's aren't the same. It's the digipak's that are really nice such as Resident Evil Pentalogy and Total Recall (remake). There are threads for both in the digipak forum. :)

Rain buddy check out the 5 Disc Total Recall & The Amazing Spiderman JP Digipacks in the Digipack thread..

Two of my favourites. :scat:

Hi. Can anyone help? I've been looking high and low for this info. Is the District 9 JP similar to the HMV / FS version or is it same as the horrible Germany reissue? :/

Well as far as the text on the front of the steelbook is concerned, that would be the same as in HMV/FS version. In English, that is.

While the German version has some text in German, the most notable word being "Und" found on most of the German steels :hilarious:

- JP SB is totally in Eng.
- Back and Front Title/text everything is in Eng.
- Only Disk and back art paper is in Japanese.
- Front, back and inside art is also similar to other releases, imo.

Someone has already posted pics in related thread IIRC. Let me know if you do not find out. I will post it.

The German version has a printed back and different artwork. The paintwork is a poor light finish.

Agree. The 'e' is really cute. Prefer this to Korea's version.

Also Ted holding the R15 ratings is funny. :)
