Just got this from Zoom. It arrived in just a padded envelope with a nice dent in it.(n)
What a bummer!

Mine arrived from Zoom today as well, also in just a padded envelope. Thankfully, though mine was unscathed (despite the postie shoving it as hard and far as he could through the letter box in to the hall - sometimes I think he is trying to go for a javelin record or something!).

I thought Zoom had announced that they were going to improve their steelbook packaging, but they obviously haven't done so as yet.

99p postage overseas and people still complain? When Best Buy does 99p shipping PM me.
Again, for Zavvi it's not 99p, but 99p + 20%, as they don't subtract the VAT portion when selling to overseas customers (unlike, e.g., Amazon UK), yet they charge the same prices as from their UK customers (and those prices include VAT).

For Jason Bourne at £22.99, there would be £5.59 (£4.60 + £0.99) to play with for covering the overseas shipping costs ;)

You keep saying that but we in the UK have nicely subsidised for rest of the world. :)

Regards to the packaging, I don't know about you guys but I always get a decent or adequate packaging and my steels always arrived mint.

The last steel I got, Star Trek, it came in a thick mailer type cardboard fold packaging, similar to when you buy from Amazon a bluray boxset of 3 movies inside. It was then in a padded envelope. I guess I'm lucky compared to the rest who have the poor packaging. But they are learning to use better packaging, just needs a bit more consistency. Don't forget this is a NEW retailer who have little experience in steelbooks. Just like how Play.com and Zavvi first started, they arrived in jiffy bags and dents. ZOOM aren't steelbook collectors and they have to start somewhere and I am sure they will become much more consistent in the future.

Unfortunately someone has to get dented steelbooks for them to change consistently.

I'm a bore, I know; always letting numbers get in the way of a good argument  I'm sure there are other companies to support your view, but Zavvi with their 99p (or even free) international shipping isn't one of them.

I also find this steelbook very boring. I do like Matt Damon's face, but they couldn't use anything else? I guess adding even a helmet was not appropriate with this film :giggle:

This steelbook is absolutely brutal.
Probobly the worst one in my collection, especially when paying full price for it.

Looks and feels, cheap and boring.

completely agree, saw it in store yesterday and i refuse to pay full price for this one

it reminds me of the FF7 steelbook showing Paul Walker on the front, both look very cheap (n)

I just got this in today and I must say I'm pretty disappointed to be honest. The back is void of any artwork whatsoever. (n) Come on Universal, pull it together. Nevertheless it's the only medium I have of this movie, be watching it tonight I imagine.
