@johnnythm Any chances Universal could re-release Jaws 2 (and maybe the original too) with the "new" rigid slipbox and the iconic theatrical one sheets for the lenticular cover?
It kinda bugs me that we get these perfect editions for 3 and 4... but not for 2 and the original Jaws?!

Well I cancelled my copy. Apparently they used AI to do the restoration and the results are so bad, reviewers are already calling it the worst 4k disc ever....
Money was taken for this yesterday from Zavvi.

Just a quick pic before I go on my hols,lenticular doesn't cover the whole front as with previous collector editions.
Best part of lenticular is underneath the title ,minimal movement on shark head but more than Jaws 2 edition
It isn't rigid. It's just an "improved lenticular slipcase", if you look at the BS. It is improved tbf, bit more sturdy and the flappy spine is gone.
Looking forward to watching the 3d. Have to watch both to see how the 4k compares. Ignoring the negative reviews until I watch for myself.
I was hoping for rigid, but doubted it, as they'd likely have advertised as such if it was. Still better than the last 2 jaws slips anyway.
Mine arrived from HMV, but with a deep spine slash / 
on the box side. Just can't stand HMV anymore, my Goodfellas Film Vault had a spine slash as well. It's no good getting these delivered in good time, if they are arriving damaged. The packaging was rubbish as well, a corner ding on the box as well.

It's really not hard and takes the same amount of time to just cut the box flaps open with a knife horizontally to avoid damaging anything.
Like you said, they probably don't care. I don't think any of these workers are looking at this as their career opportunity.
Get fired or quit, then move on to the next job.

Amazon didn't take payment from me and then dispatch for 2001 until 7 days after the release date.
I haven't been charged for Jaws yet. I expect it to be the same as 2001. A week late.

I mentioned Amazon because I know someone who received theirs, so I guess it depends on the distribution centre and Prime members. With that said, Amazon sent theirs in one of those brown paper bags

Yep. They do like those environmentally friendly paper mailers.
Amazon only care about being fast as time is money, people packing are slaves and need to keep quota rates , easiest thing to do is stick it in a paper bag.
