I got mine yesterday but it had a huge dent on the front. I got it from sainsburys entertainment, straight back for a replacement. They use those flimsy a1 envelopes. Rubbish!

got my copy from there also. 3 dents on my copy!! worst dent was on the front as well.sent back for a refund and reordered from amazon.
A BIG NO TO SAINSBURYS AND THEIR POOR PACKAGING. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you tell amazon now about the damage they will send you out a replacement straight away then you just send back the damaged one

If it's damaged they couldn't resell it anyway, only as a damaged item through their warehouse marketplace seller, so it doesn't really matter. You should send it back because some buffoon has sliced it clumsily with a knife and that is completely unacceptable.

I don't know what is happening with these slash marks along the spine , right through the word JAWS.
I have had 2 copies from HMV and both had this same identical slash mark , now reports of Amazon steelies having the exact same mark

My friends copy from Amazon also had this score right down the middle of the spine. It doesnt seem to be a clumsy warehouse packer though as the seal is untouched, just the steel is damaged. Seems a production problem.

Mine doesn't have a scored down the spine, but that is where the seam of the shrink wrap is, right down the middle...but something has to be scratching.

It might be when the steelbooks arrive at the suppliers warehouse after being printed. Some idiot opens the packs with a stanley blade before they have the J-cards applied to them.
Just a theory of course.
