Choi, is the issue between Warner and Scanavo HK only related to Pacific Rim? I don't see how this is not another futurepak release if Warner is not releasing SteelBooks in Asia.

Thanks Kevin for the confirmation, even it doesn't relate with the thread but I still wonder what happened with Warner Asia, since this title gets steelbooks treatment but the major block busters like MOS and Pacific Rim are just metalpak... still doesn't make sense to me tho... anyway would keep an eye for this one when it goes live...

I don't get it..... UK puts this up for £18 and members complain about the artwork and price, now it comes to a worldwide release and it gets a slipcase with foreign text and all of a sudden it's loved..... I just don't get it :D

I do not decide whether I will go for Taiwan or for Japan since KR steelbook release is just canceled

Rarity and slip is not my concern.

Most of case JP is best choice for me.

This is a Fox release!

Damn. Why Korea cancel? Not the Warner asia probs again :(

In Korea, film license dispute between Fox and Warner has not finished yet so Fox can not have license to release this movie in Korea and even Warner.

Just confirmed few days ago.

Frankly speaking, Warner Asia (Not Warner JP, NA, EU) does not have any interest to release steelbook for their blockbuster in Asia market (SG, HK, TW, KR, TH) and one more thing .... MP is very cheap (like soda can steel + low quality coating and spine error...very very week to damage during the transit)

so Warner will release MP in Asia. see what will be coming to MP.

I will stick to Warner JP steelbook release from Pacific rim and man of steel.
