I am not a fan of these expensive boxsets. It is for the hardcore collectors or those will resell the 1/4 slip + the box.

You got a valid point on adapting but personally I am fine with individual editions matching the first release.

These box sets are no longer free with the steels. Nova bumps up the price to have a fancy boxset. I see the price range no different to the kill bills added price.

The market will get over saturated again and they will start having unsold stock of boxsets.

I really like the box design, but it's not the best choice for a film that's exploding with super-saturated color. Seems like they're just aping Everything Blu's Mummy box.

Besides, no matching box for part one, no sale.

I think it would be nice to have a generic box for a boxset, so I could purchase this with just the lenti and slot my lenti for the first mvoie, into the same box (its what am planning on doing when Deadpool 2 comes out - swapping out my fullslip FAC for both lenti's in the hard box).

Basically, I like the idea of boxes but for all parts of a series, not multiple copies of the same movie.

Yeah I agree that many of them from various retailers like nova, kimchi, zeta are very nice but surely it don't have to be every release and it would of made sense to leave the box out for this release to match up with the guys who one clicked the first film.
It's when you start seeing really crappy films get decent boxes I just want to face palm

Still undecided with the lenti or slip A, really like the art used for both back and front and the purple fits it so well on both.

I don't own the first from nova (only FAC) but always see the comments the lenti gets so I'm tempted with that because it shouldn't be any worse.
Plus I love a nova lenti (except kill bill 1 cough cough)
but then I can also see slip A having an awesome finsh. Will wait for beauty shots etc and hopefully make my mind up

I'll try to get a hold of the lenticular slip and maybe full slip B.
It's a shame both full slips for chapter 2 don't match the full slip for chapter 1 in terms of design. However I think it's better this way, because I didn't like the John Wick full slip all that much (except its backside). The lenti slip was/is amazing though, and with the Chapter 2 lenti, Novamedia certainly delivers great consistency in style.

Let's hope they throw in a JW Chapter 1 boxset as gift with Chapter 2 1-click buyers and for those who already own the 1st 1-click, now that would be sweet (although doubtful) either way I'm in for that beauty so 1-click it is

Wouldn't usually just go for an O-ring Lenti over a Fullslip but this is one almighty exception JW2 NM Lenti > One of the fullslips to boot > Maybe.. First and foremost is that Lenti through

I know it won't happen, but would love them to release a John Wick box... just the box, with John Wick written on and not John Wick 2. That way when the 3rd is released I can put a copy of each in; perfect.

Still think I'm going for one of the full slips.

That is a quite smart idea. The only problem would be that John Wick 2 title for your customized "trilogy" box...

That's if it bothers you. I don't think it will for me. It's just nice to have a box I can store them all in.

The only issue is three full slips (which I'm choosing) going to squeeze in? The lenti o ring is thinner. It all depends how snug and tight Nova make these.
