Not sure what you mean - I've already made a payment through the HDN GB system so that guarantees me a copy - doesn't it? I chose Direct Shipping, but was wondering if there was an advantage to choosing Hub shipping. I suppose it's too late to change the shipping method after making a purchase but I'll more than likely choose Hub for future group buys.

They misinterpreted your original post and thought you meant buying direct from Nova rather than the direct shipping method of the GB.

I'll be going for slip a still but I'm not the biggest fan of the Steelbook
Really?
I quite like it - hoping for the same flat and glossy finish as the first mind.

Also, as before, this is a blind buy - unintentional tradition of watching these at home, curled up with the BF who's a huge Keanu fan(think he's his man crush. lol)

I've had better success buying scratch tickets and getting something "extra" than I have for hosting group buys. Definitely don't jump in the host "pool" if you are thinking you are going to make a ton of money. lol
that should go for any collector to collector sale really - I've never made money just at best ended up with rare duplicates that enabled me to get other rare ones - good trading.

the hassle of shifting spares and duplicates is enough. I dont think I could ever do all the work the GB'er's do - high apprication to them on that!! :)

None of these full slips match the first one, full slip A looks the best between them. The o ring lenti will be very popular I reckon as the first one is very similar.

Lenti would've been better if it was a slipbox not an o-ring like the first movie.

Why do i have to go to a GB and spend more money than I care to spend when I can order direct?

There should be no issue if I get in quick, if I can order all their marvel nova collections when they had small print runs, huge demands on awful servers with my crappy PC and the force awakens NC then I doubt I'll have an issue with this

I'm not sure why people act so sh*tty to people who might not be able to afford the extra $ on a GB. Maybe I don't have the money right this second but will around the time it goes live on their site.

Really not sure why your making this a thing either, my comment was to collector saying $13 is nothing when really that's not the case for everyone

I've never had a issue when ordering popular films with nova and fingers crossed this is the same
I used to agree with you but between limits on GB allocations and the options to get direct shipping...GB's are the way forward for me as it takes the stress out of ordering the exact time AND supports this site(only a few £ but it all helps)

If you dont want to buy on a GB then am sure you'll be fine going direct - I've used a mix of both GB's and direct with Nova in the past and had no qualms either way. Always been lucky and got what I wanted (only Kimchi Deadpool did I fail on but that turned out to my benifit)

The reason some might get sh**ty as you say, is because the general consenus seems to be that if you cant afford the cost of these things, cos they arent cheap - £45 average cost vs maybe £20 local now....then maybe you shouldnt be buying them(I've had that pulled on me before when I complained about double shipping from GB's)? Not saying thats the case for you, plus I can barely afford my collection since I moved in Nov, so for me, every penny matters too. Just be thankful you have a choice, thats what I do. Be more selective and figure out if a steel will sell out or be in high demand...should you pay extra to be sure you get a copy or risk the general sale. Its still your choice :)

you can pay for ease or save your money and do the work yourself - I for one, now things have changed, welcome having both choices and two options for getting a steelbook now.

Purchased Full Slip A using the Group Buy
I don't want to miss out on this
I expect this might sell out quickly on pre order day with nova website

The extra amount with Group Buy is not that much extra
$37.00 Nova website
Group Buy $43 = $6.00 extra
Shipping K packet for me will be $11.89 if I ordered direct using nova website other countries might be different amounts
Group Buy Shipping is extra $3.00 + PayPal Fees =$14.89 + PayPal Fees = $15.64 based on K - Packet $11.89 shipping price might be little extra depends on the PayPal fees caculation

Total amount using Group Buy $58.64 estimated amount
If I ordered direct using Nova Website the cost would be $48.89

A extra $9.75 I don't mind that but I would understand those that want to save some money ordering direct using nova website

Also thankful for choice, never once mentioned I wasn't

For me it's also not about what what I should be buying (I know your not saying it's not the case for me - and I once had someone say that i shouldn't be buying them to me also which I hit the roof at them for saying it - like I it's up to them what amount I should spend lol some people also have a life out of collecting and maybe I don't want to spend eveything I have each month on films) but it's also what I think a release is worth.

Which for me this between £38-£40 ordering direct and depending on currency conversion is about right. Whereas i don't want to spend £50+ on it through a GB and that's just my opinion. Like others have stated its their favourite film this year so I get why some will want to pay that and secure through a GB. That's fine. Other films are worth that to me or premiums from retailers I prefer more than nova etc. Lots of variables make my desicions like i imagine it does for others

Plus I look at things like @lgans316, that extra £10+ saved from the GB goes to another premium beause let's face it there are so many retailers now constantly realeasing lovely packages and it helps me obtain more on my budget each month that I set myself (other wise this hobby completely takes over) by ordering direct or like you say being smart and trying to figure out what won't sell out and maybe what I can get for a bargain later down the line from the bay or other collectors etc

But I've not mentioned once I don't welcome GBs (I use them for blufans and if I can't make a pre order date)

Funny thing is my original comment on here at the extra $13 or whatever it was was not even about GBs or appreciation of them or relevance of them etc etc etc, it's the arrogance that comes with some people saying "it's only that much extra" and look down on you because you don't want to pay that extra, or assume everyone is fine and dandy with paying the extra x amount.
But people misinterpretate a hell of a lot on here so I was expecting nothing less lol
