Dear Collectors,

let us kindly inform you about the status of preparations for individual editions and some news.

Within several days we should receive the delivery of FORREST GUMP T-shirts, which is the last part of the MANIACS BOX mosaic we have been waiting for. By the end of this week, we will start sending orders that contain this FORREST GUMP MANIACS box. Along with the FORREST GUMP editions, we will ship the GREMLINS editions, which have been waiting for the FORREST GUMP box to be completed.

Completion of all three editions FAC 140 JOKER in the HARDBOX should be ready by December 18, and gradually, as the editions are completed, we will send them to you together with KING KONG.

We apologize, but the production of lenticulars for the FAC 141 - 144 editions has been delayed, and due to the fact that these lenticulars will be delivered on December 21 - 22, we will not be able to assemble these editions this year. We will return to completing these editions after the Christmas holidays and plan to start dispatching them from January 11, 2021.

Let me once again apologize for the series of delays that have accompanied us practically all this year. We will try to apply the acquired knowledge for release date planning in the next years.

The MANIACS BOX BACK TO THE FUTURE is still in approval, so we decided to use the titles GODZILLA 2014, GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS E1 + E2, and KONG: Skull Island for pre-orders within December 14 - 17. If the BTTF MANIACS BOX is approved during December, we will deploy it to pre-orders in January 2021. Other titles coming soon for pre-orders are DOCTOR STRANGE E1 + E2, CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR E1 + E2, DOCTOR SLEEP E1 + 2, WIZARD OF OZ, ANNABELLE COMES HOME.

By the end of this year, we managed to complete the update that many of you have been waiting for a long time, namely completing the digitization of our warehouse, including the electronic connection of reserves of previously released FAC or BB editions, which we need to keep in case of unexpected matters such as damage or loss. We have already tested some titles in test modes, everything worked without problems, nothing prevents the gradual deployment of other titles.

Thank you very much for your support and cooperation.

We wish you a Merry Christmas holidays and we wish everyone who is experiencing any troubles that our lives will soon return to normal.

Best regards,

JC for the FA and BB teams

Big changes coming: getting ready 1 January 2021

Even with the new EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement in place, there will be big changes on 1 January 2021.

On that date, the UK will leave the EU Single Market and Customs Union, as well as all EU policies and international agreements. The free movement of persons, goods, services and capital between the UK and the EU will end.

The EU and the UK will form two separate markets; two distinct regulatory and legal spaces. This will create barriers to trade in goods and services and to cross-border mobility and exchanges that do not exist today – in both directions.

If you bored and want someting to read or get bored
Here is in full the deal agreed depending on been passed by both EU and UK parliaments

Group Buy parcels sent to UK will need customs label as UK not in EU custums Union no more from January 1st.

On the customs label when vat has been paid that will need to be listed

Items shipped from third party from a EU country to UK might be hit for vat and customs duty if customs label and invoice does not show was a purchase paid before December 31st

TL;DR

So you're saying there's no deal?
There is a trade deal agreed
The trade deal has nothing to do Vat and Customs duty on purchases done by customers.

Trade deal is in regards to business avoiding tariffs and Quotas on most goods moving between each region as in UK and EU business wanting to sell their products.

UK no longer in customs union from January 1st 2021
So parcels from EU to UK and from UK to EU will have Vat required to be paid by customers who purchase goods.
Customs duty will be required to be paid also if goods value over UK £135/ EU €150

Note
Republic of Ireland custumers purchasing from a online business based in Northern Ireland remains the same as before no changes.

This could be a good thing as vat is less in UK than other countries in Europe

Imports into UK from EU or other countries based outside UK
On purchases done from January 1st
From January 1st in UK vat will be required to be paid on full cost of goods as the £15 threshold to avoid vat is gone.

You will also have customs duty if value of goods is over £135

Most but not all EU on-line websites will apply UK vat at checkout
Those on-line business that don't apply vat at checkout customs/parcel courier will look for vat payment when delerving goods

Customs duty if required to be paid will be collected by parcel courier

It will still be cheaper to pay UK vat on goods from Europe cheaper than 135£ as UK vat is less than many European countries

EU customers ordering from EU retailers don't have customs duty on goods over value €150
They only pay vat

It's going to be more expensive for UK customers to order goods from EU

UK customers ordering from EU if value over £135 and they will also pay customs duty
Also the cost of goods increases on imports from January 1st as you no longer have the £15 to avoid vat payment.

EU is not dropping the threshold of €22 to avoid Vat on imports until July 1st 2021

There are more options for EU customers to order from EU business than using UK

Its going to be cheaper for EU customers to order from UK until July 1st 2021 as they won't be paying vat if goods cost €22 or less
