As promised, here are the pictures of the packaging by JSDVD. Please feel free to add these pics to the OP so that everyone can have a look before buying from them.

I find their packaging totally bulletproof. As you can see in the first picture, the box arrived in a completely bashed and torn condition:

They used 3 layers of bubble wrap on the outside that absorbed the impacts of the outside world:

Inside those 3 outer layers of bubble, each individual steelbook was wrapped in 3-4 layers of bubble on each side:

And finally, the flawless steelbook:

Most of the packages from JSDVD / Kimchi arrive in that condition for me. Think it is Parcel Force who are well known for mishandling packages. I have seen them throwing and tossing the packages into the van many times even if you mark as Fragile.

The corner that has the damage has a big sticker on it saying fragile and it still got used as a football...:hilarious:

Parcel Force are ***kers...:naughty:

What a joke man, glad the steelbook arrived safe and sound Scope, JSDVD boxes are heavy duty and thick compared to Play.com/Zavvi's and still gets beaten up by these idiots via transit doh!!

Luckily I have a lovely post-woman who delivers my JSDVD packages from Parcel Force :naughty:

She even calls me if no one is at home :hilarious:

I have a pretty simple and quick question. Sorry if it's already been asked, but I couldn't find the answer when I searched.

So I ordered Hansel & Gretel Witch Hunters 3D from JSDVD and I'm about ready to pay. I'm at the TWV OpenPay Online Payment page, and I'm wondering which of the two paying options I'm supposed to use. 'Perform Normal Payment' or 'Perform Trusted Payment' ???

I've never had that option before, so I was just wondering. Hoping for a quick response because the page is still open and I have to pay.

;)

Choose normal payment. Trusted will fail I believe as its for Taiwan customers only.

Many thanks, mate!

EDIT: Well, this is... less than ideal. I've tried two cards now and both have failed. My first card I used was my debit card (MasterCard) and wouldn't let me pay because I didn't have a SecureCode. I tried to sign up for one, and for whatever reason, I cannot. Anyways, I then tried my reloadable credit card I used before I got a debit card, and they won't take that either. I guess they just won't get my business, which sucks, because it's the best price I could find for the Taiwan Hansel & Gretel Witch Hunters 3D steelbook.

Had this same problem when trying to get Hobbit 3-d back when it was new.. Sorry bud I didn't come up with a good solution.. After trying 2 cards and an hour or so of research the price didn't seem as good as it once did and I just went with YesAsia for a couple bucks more and instant purchase..

Hmm, it's not taking my card for normal payment, and i can't make any sense of the "sign-up" for trusted payment. Anyone able to assist me with this?

New Taiwan dollar.

Got to admit when I seen some picks of a few steels from Taiwan in the acquired thread, before I discovered it was NT$ and not US$, the $1,050 price tags made me go EEK!EEK!.

Anyway, one of these puppies and IM3 could be yours, with some change as well. :D

Only the gift combo with the mug is sold out. You could still be eligible for the SteelBook only purchase. Good luck!

If you pre-order , can you cancell it later on? Or you can not because they charge you already for the steelbook. I am very curious

For the question asked in the OP about the safety thing and as a retailer feedback I would say that JSDVD is the best so far!

I think after having bought from them so many times, it would be right to say at this point that JSDVD has the best packaging that I have ever seen from a retailer. Though Kimchi packs well too but if you buy 2 steelbooks, they will take those 2 steels and wrap them together in many layers of bubble and in a box but what JSDVD does is they wrap every single steelbook in their individual bubble wraps and then together in another 2 to 3 layers of bubble wrap and then in a box. This prevents any friction and you get OCD Mint steels :D

Secondly, their customer support is very nice. They replaced a defective steel I had received and even adjusted the return shipping charges in the subsequent order.

So 100% positive experience with them. Though I would appreciate if they could add the option of PayPal to their site but even otherwise, they give you complete value for money

hello everyone,I just purchased some steelbooks from JSDVD in Taiwan.
Unfortunately 2 steelbooks had manufacturer'dents.I sent many emails and pictures to them but they did not answer my request of how to return.
Does anybody out there have similar issue like mine with JSDVD ??.

Yes, I had once. Sometimes, they don't reply the first time. So, send them a reminder mail, 2 days after you had sent the first mail. Then they always reply.

They will provide you an address in both English and I guess Mandarin (It can also be had from their site). While printing ensure you print the address in both the languages in the exact same manner as they told you to. The reason being their postman in Taiwan will only read the address in Mandarin to deliver the return package.

Once it reaches them, they will send a replacement and if you wish to claim the return shipping that you paid, then that will be adjusted towards your subsequent order with them.
