Well, I missed out myself and noticed there was one spot left in the group buy. I thought, with Zavvi being Zavvi, I'd have a quick check of their site before signing up for the GB - and there it was. Ordered a copy straight away, and I've just had shipping confirmation too.

So hopefully it'll be here ASAP. Been a good few days for me, as I got this, Rush and Army of Darkness. Frankly, I never worry when ANY Zavvi film goes OOS as with the exception of Frozen and WFRR they have always come back in stock later, always. No matter what people say or worry about, Zavvi always "find" extra copies eventually. Happy it was true again.

I think you mean the value of the $ went down, due to the UK doing better than the U.S.

yeah i got Enter the dragon, Lethal weapon on preorder, and then spiderman and fantastic four on sale, but i have never seen the rise of the silver surfer anywhere thou?

That was a few weeks after the steelbook was released and claimed to be out of stock on the main Zavvi site.

Both were sold, after release and AFTER being out of stock on Zavvi, via Zavvi's ebay outlets. Thanks for playing. My main point was that Zavvi have a habit of saying things are out of stock and then suddenly "finding" stock and making it available by numerous means (Zavvi, The Hut, IWOOT, ebay, etc) so people shouldn't stress out so much.

As for THIS release I have to say that I was surprised to see it sell out so fast, as while it is a classic it hasn't held up that well (in terms of the CGI) but not really shocked to see it come back in stock. Hopefully it means that everyone who wants one can get one.
