It's less than £16 shipped to the UK as it is. By the time someone buys them, then reships them, would it really be much cheaper?

Actually would be more expensive to get it reshipped. JB HiFi charges way less than a final user would, as they have a special deal with the overpriced AusPost. The problem is packaging. At least internally JB packaging is just a padded envelope that doesn't protect the steel.

Yeah, I saw that when people were buying the Apocalypse Now Steelcase. I'm still hoping for a UK, or even a amazon.de or .fr release, but if they don't materialize (and given how close the release date is, and how many other steels are coming out around then, it's looking less likely every day) I guess I'll have to chance it with the padded envelope.

Im not sure if jbhifi charges postage nationally. If it does then there is no point. If not I, believe its around £13 shipped (to the uk anyway). So a small saving, near 20%.
I must say, I have ordered from jbhifi twice and had sent to the uk. They have an option to mark as gift and I never paid customs once.

I pre-ordered six titles and total shipping to Singapore is only AUD13.50, al hell lot of difference when I ordered the Tron and Senna metal box. Not sure why ?
Pre-order is cheaper ? or steelbook is a lot lighter than metal box ?

Just so you know, it's just a coincidence that you weren't charged by customs, it's nothing to do with marking it as a gift. Gift only works if you address it to someone else. If they check the package and see it's addressed to the bill payer, they won't accept the gift status. The reason you didn't get charged before is simply because the package wasn't checked.
