It's funny you should mention that DB! I bought the majority of this wave and I noticed while they werent flimsy, the colors on them looked cheap and pale. There is paint missing on some areas on different spots on some of them. For example there is a HUGE price of paint missing from Robert DeNiro's nose on my Casino cover. But there is no damage to he steelbook or the plastic....There is also missing paint on my BTTF edition as well. The 8 mile Steelbook SHOULD be black but for some strange reason it has a GREEN overtone to it... Even on the inside artwork. Jurassic Park and Fast and the furious look extremely DULL! This is surprising since FATF has such a Bright cover to begin with... I dunno, I thought it was just me. Maybe I'm getting a little OCD about all these Steelbooks lol

just a quick measurement had sealed BTTF weighing slightly more than sealed Saving Private Ryan UK. To be expected as BTTF has a slip and 'Ryan' has a backing card.
Finally got mine today. It's my favorite movie so I like it a lot. To me the colors seem a little faded but I like that it has the original logo and the design is like the collectable VHS cover from the 90's (seen below). I guess I'm OCD because I'm not a fan of having the Pteranodon in the inside artwork because it wasn't even in the movie, also the brachiosaurus is from JP III. The inside art is a Photoshopping job and seems like they didn't try.
Just happy it's only the 1st JP, so all in all a great steelbook

For me this would have been the perfect inside artwork
mine arrived today, packed with casino. the kind folks at jb sent it as a gift, so no customs.
now waiting for my other package with bttf, apollo and 8mile. hope they put that as a gift too.
