Bit disappointed the 4 reveals were this world, clueless and jaws lol. Was hoping on small soldiers and companion

Had them in the cart with the 10% off but decided not too. Not feeling them and June is too soon for £90

That’s correct. All caps. These went live at 11.30 though and all disabled within a few mins except JP which was working for a good 10 mins

June is far too stacked. What's a collector to do? Can't justify another £100. God damn flim flam flip!
Going to have to pass for now.
Oh do I wish that sweet 20% was still out there. Sweet sweet discount days.

OH DEAR the digital bits have now heard back from Universal and these so called new transfers are just the same old transfers from the old discs with a different colour grading for DV.
Ain't paying £50 a set for these when i already own the old discs with HDR.
Cancelled what a missed opportunity by Universal , give them a studio that will do these classics justice.
£50 for a steelbook with different artwork well done Universal well done.

I don't know why anyone expected anything other than new dv and atmos, that's all that was noted on the jcard. These don't need new 4k scans, they were done new when the og 4ks came out. Sony do this all the time, simply add dv, and nobody complains about that.

They were not exactly stellar conversions back in 2018 and should and could of been a lot better with some loving care shown to them.
Just look at what can be accomplished when you look at older films getting loads of better new scans lately.
My £50 will stay in my wallet this time thank you Universal.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the 4k scans. These films are getting a new dv colour grade, and a new encode on a 100gb disc. I think you will be surprised how much a new encode, with a higher bitrate, and dv colour grade will achieve.

Plus atmos, but I expect that'll be a less notable improvement vs the older dtsx track. Probably a touch less bass heavy, and a touch more dynamic, as most atmos tracks tend to be vs dtsx.

I will wait for the reviews first then are these defo 100GB discs what were the old ones 50gb discs ?
The Atmos could be amazing if done properly I suppose with a proper healthy bitrate upgrade for DV.
Pass judgement when we get the reviews then cheers dude.
