Before the opening of the GB there were 2 Ebay sellers, now there are several including a Canadian (ebay ID: mpniak, York, Ontario) who sells each copy. He probably bought them here.

He's been selling all of the premium sets and all of the various European Amazon and Zavvi steelbooks for years.
He takes orders on ebay and then has the items shipped direct to buyers from the retailers. They don't go through his hands so they are never inspected before reaching the ebay buyers. He also doesn't always mention what country they are coming from and mostly uses stock photos. So a lot of buyers get pissed off when their items arrive with foreign language J cards and various foreign ratings symbols. Read his feedback.

However one good thing about this is that's how I found out where to get all of the steelbooks that aren't available in Canada. I purchased a steelbook from him that arrived from Amazon France in an Amazon package. Ever since then I have had no need to purchase steelbooks from ebay. I also thank all of the ebay pre-sellers who put "Zavvi exclusive" or "Blufans" in their listings for the heads-up.

It almost sounds like he's bragging about grabbing one just to sell on and letting us know that he's doing that because there have been so many available.

Just my opinion though... could be wrong.

This was a wonderful Group Buy though. I'm not bothered about items being so low that it's an amazing feeling to obtain one on such a low print run. I prefer wide availability so I KNOW I have a better chance of getting one.

Not going to scalp it, though I could see how my post might imply that. More that I've missed a few releases that I wasn't sure I wanted initially, so I figured better to order now for retail than pay 2-3x as much on ebay later. But I don't think this will be one of those cases where I later decide I really do want this. Maybe the boxset will change my mind when in hand though.

There's scalping and then there's flipping. Many people "flip" things. There's even a "Flip Or Flop" TV show about flipping houses. I've flipped a few things over the years. Flipping is seen as more benign than scalping. What's the difference? What makes it one or the other? Is it the thing that's being sold? Is it how often you do it? Is it intent? So... this will be my very first HDzeta boxset of any release, especially a DC release. What am I to expect inside? More importantly what is inside the 'special pack' usually?

I currently have the Zeta's of BVS Double Lenti, SS joker edition lenti and WW single lenti.
My DCEU steelbooks are a bit of a mix with some Zavvi/HMV/Amazon/Nova and Mantalab.

I was late to the party with the DC HDzeta boxsets and obviously my preference is always to go for Marvel whenever it's affordable to do so.

I bagged one of the editions from the store but my card company declined the payment because they flagged it as fraud.

HDZeta's security certificate is out of date, making it unsecure to use a credit card there. I know this has been mentioned before but it's worth repeating - the site is not safe to buy from! For an online merchant, that's completely unacceptable. HDZeta need to update their security asap.

Same here. Decided last minute to get a box set. GB had just sold out so tried at the store. I tried to send a message to them saying they really need to update the security certificate but even that crapped out. Really awful. As I've stated before, seems no one on that end cares.

HDZeta has responded several times and they still claim it is safe, despite the security warning and banks declining the payments. There are limited options for Chinese payment processors (they can't use PayPal), so don't expect it to change anytime soon.
