Last order I placed with amazon Germany in OCT arrived by courier was very quick just make sure you check your emails as i was not expecting it to be by courier if i had not checked could missed the delivery was lucky I was off that day as previous orders arrived by normal post

Some arrive by standard post or courier

Note last delivery 2 steelbooks packaging was it was in huge box i could have put kitchen sink in it

It's the ones that we don't know the print run that become grails. Not knowing makes it all the more important to have a copy.

This is true, I think that's because they have sold out on their own merit rather than because scalpers think they can make a nice profit. The World's End is a good example. No one expected that to sell out, so there aren't hundreds of copies stockpiled for resale therefore the price has gone up.

i received my two copies today and both came with a vertical line from the top to almost the bottom on almost exact the same place plus plenty of other scratches on the front , it even looks like someone has used a knife on it

odd, I´ve been reading all kinds of remarks in different forums about people having scratches on their steelbook copy. and the really weird thing is, these were bought from various retailers, not just from amazon.....

Checked mine fromm MM-no marks or scratches visible (didn`t open them yet)-maybe i was just lucky

Nothing odd about it, really, it's a manufacturing defect. Some piece of machinery is slightly out of whack at the Scanavo production line and suddenly we have plenty of damaged steelbooks.

This has happened before at least with Jack Reacher (UK release) and Foxy Brown. Possibly there are others as well.

For those who ordered more than one to the UK, did your post man deliver or was it a courier?

My post man has been and gone but no sign of the 2 I ordered. Any time I have ordered from Germany, the delivery date has never been missed. Gutted I didn't get them today.

Managed to get a copy from amazon.ES this is the first non uk steelbook I have purchased, oh ohhhhh here we go.

i went to another saturn store today here in vienna, whereas they had 11 copies at the other one yesterday, there were only 3 left today. and it's one of the biggest saturns here... however, one of the 3 copies had a loose disc, but i could not resist grabbing the other two.

i opened the one copy i received from amazon yesterday, and the whole steelbook looks amazing, from artwork over finish to the incredibly nice title debossing. this will be THE version to get.
