Thanks for the info! Just ordered a copy! Do you know how their packaging is?
Not optimal, I'm afraid. They ship in a bubble envelope and sometimes the steelbook is enclosed in cardboard as well, but not always.
The bubble envelope is of stronger material than typical, however. Luckily I've only once (out of 10-15 orders) received a steelbook from them that was damaged during shipment. Replacements or refunds are not problematic, albeit they only offer store credit for refunds.
I ordered my copy of Kick-Ass 2 from WOW HD as well, so I'm not too worried about the shipping

popped into HMV Wimbledon at lunch and they had a couple at £22.99. had to pass at this price. If was priced like Man of Steel or Gastby I might have grabbed as it is a lovely looking steel and gloss , but not paying £22.99 for a film that i havent seen and has had mixed reviews
I havent received mine yet but from the photos i have seen its very nice steelbook. And i agree with you Geek Tragedy, it will be a contender for steelbook of the year.

Seems to be. But hasn't been confirmed yet. I'm sure German one will have the same finish.
Base.com still have 997 copies instock at £21.95 on Play.com & Zavvi are still showing 85, I just picked up a few extra to stick away being as they are £45 on Amazon.co.uk already

Got mine this morning, by far (for me anyways) this is the best steel book this year! It's beautiful and the finish is amazing, so glossy! I adore it, x
I'm not trying to insult ANYONE at all here, but I think it's pretty sad that a lot of members are calling this the "steelbook of the year" just because it has high gloss. I mean it's beautiful don't get me wrong, but I remember a time when that was the norm! All Steelbooks were high gloss and beautiful and that's what made me a collector. All these faded looking matte finish looking steels will be the end of this hobby for a lot of people sadly. Again, I'm not insulting anyone or their opinions, just the sad demise of this hobby.
Yet another let down by amazon prime, I was really looking forward to watching this tonight. Has for the steelbook its nice to see the return of the gloss, great artwork even though it is abit repetitive (inside left and disk art). Parcel force better have this here tomorrow.
