Yes there is a reason. If you buy a movie that isnt for people under the age 18, you get the movie in a extra case. I dont no why some store do this but i wondering to if i buy my version of kill bill. But if you buy movies from media markt or amazon germany you get only one case. Only some small stores do this.

Thanks for the info. I wonder if I got the rarer "disks inside" the case edition? The majority here posted that their discs were outside, and the vast majority of ebay auctions advertise this as discs comes outside the case. Mine only has the "18" sticker on it, and not the other 2. It would be kickass to get a rare variant of a rare variant lol.
 
Available in stores you'll only ever find the version with discs outside the steelbook. I'm in Germany and can get that one easily, but I actually joined the GB on here from Masterblaster to get the rarer one with discs inside! You should hang on to that one big time!!! You can only get these directly from the distributor apparently...

Whoa, thanks for the info bud. I was wondering why mine looked different than all the others lol. Sometimes lady luck just finds you. I purchased 2 of these because they are the rarer than the yellow suit, now I find out that theres another level of rarity for these. I think I might have accidentally stumbled upon 2 gems lol.
