Anyone know if there are any of the below working Zavvi codes at the moment?

£4 off of £40

£5 off of £50

£10 off of £100

I have tried a few, but none seem to work on anything (including pre-order and/or in stock items)

You have just answered your own question if you have tried them and there not working what do you think??:hilarious:

ordered this as really wanted, but as I open my steels, may have to cancel...emailed Zavvi and they confirmed it is Region B locked

The Kill Bills were $3.99 each last Black Friday. Plus they were both available at BB for $9.99 each during the $5 per DVD credit promo (essentially making them $4.99 each if you have a couple old DVDs).

So the point is... even if you have to spend another $10 USD to get the discs, that's still only about $33 USD total for a double feature Zavvi Exclusive embossed steelbook.

Now... aside from that... I am on your side with the whole region coding madness. The purpose, reasoning, and benefit to anyone behind the selective locked region coding still eludes me.

Never thought of that...I have a lot of DVD's available to trade and they are still listed at $9.99

Hi all! As you can see I'm new here and hope this is the right place to ask this question. I'm obviously interested in purchasing this release from Zavvi, (it's in my cart right now) but have a question that I can't find an answer to. Can anyone tell me what audio stream this disc will contain? I'm hoping for either Dolby TruHD or DTS-HD MA, but have seen these movies released in steel form with only DD 5.1 (Canada releases). Can anyone answer this?

Welcome to the forum! The specifications have not been released yet for the steelbook but I'm almost certain that It will feature high res audio as the other UK releases have done. The Canadian releases actually had PCM uncompressed audio, I don't think there is a version of the Blu-ray with just a standard DD 5.1 so you should be fine with this steelbook.

That's not for embossing, most of them drawings seem to have those same line markings and I can't see anything on the back that suggests it.

I believe those are the fold lines for the metal itself so what is within the boxes is the front and back. For a border with a debossed center (like the 3d lenticular a from MM), additional lines are added so you have a box within a box to show the debossing...
