Last I'd read (not sure if anything's changed since), Tarantino had come to appreciate Vol.1 and Vol. 2 as separate movies, and as such had cooled on the idea of releasing TWBA.

There have been quite a few Kill Bill releases but I think they are all flawed in some way so I look forward to seeing how this turns out.

Probably, but he still counts them as one, thus Hateful Eight is his 8th movie as it was written on every poster.
Anyway I'm utterly happy for this release!!

I think it got a couple of screenings (Cannes and Alamo Drafthouse) rings a bell but that's pretty much it. I think The Weinstein Conhad a mock up BD box set of it up at SDCC one year but no more has ever been said about

Interested to see this one, there hasn't been a KB steelie yet I've been keen on so have stuck with my Japanese extended versions. Hoping the artwork on this will make me finally upgrade

Haha, yes indeed, I even owned the Canadian Amazon pair - I meant 'there hasn't been one I've liked the look of despite owning two', not sure my sentence was clear there Have felt they've all been quite rushed. I've also got the lovely little DVD sleeve yellow jacket; be nice to see them roll something similar out for a BR release.
