I don't know first hand, only what I've been told by owners.

As far as I've been told it's exactly the same version shown in theatres, right down to the forced English subs for foreign parts. It simply has Italian subs and a dub for that market.

That shouldn't really be the deciding factor on whether you buy the only copy available on physical media though. Intro text, that you're familiar with, isn't important in the grand scheme.

I have this. The intro text is Italian, theres a forced English subtitle to translate, but it's annoying tbh. Will probably sell the disc and get the UK one when it lands.
