Kimchi Exclusives & Suggestion thread

And what about a nice HULK (Norton) Steelbook...that would be great

I think the Norton Hulk deserves a Vertical steel but not the Kimchi treatment, I think Ruffalo has made it the best yet but again not yet worthy of the Kimchi touch, but I would not say no to any of the 2 :hilarious:

Mars Attacks :oohyeah:

:movie:

Buuuummmmmp for Mars Attacks :oohyeah:
I really expect to see the Burton's Planet of the Apes to receive the steelbook treatment in the Uk So the other Burton deserving the steelbook treatment is Mars Attacks! It would perfectly fit for a Kimchidvd exclusive :D

Hey, just came here to say

Glad to see a couple of posts requesting Last of the Mohicans.

It is surprising to me that this has not been released as a Steelbook yet; such a fantastic movie and soundtrack!

I agree with you, it one of the best movies and fantastic soundtrack. Kimchi exclusive #7 :naughty:

Funny thing is I'm not even a huge fan of the movie. I like it, but it's not like one of my favourite movies or nothing.

I really want the steel cause I think it has a lot of potential, because I want it on blu-ray (only buy steels and digi's) and because I want it next to Only God Forgives which will hopefully get a steel soon! :D

I'm going to suggest a film that absolutely deserves to be the next KimchiDVD steelbook exclusive.

True Romance 1993

This film (I'm sure) is in the top 3 most requested steelbooks. It's thread in the "SteelBook™ Feedback" sub-forum is constantly bumped, b/c of it's popularity and demand.
I'd rather have KimchiDVD release it than Zavvi, b/c Zavvi somehow finds a way to screw up artwork.

I'm down for T2 (already own), Monsters Inc. and Leon.

It seems like KimChi love Luc Besson, so it'd be cool to see their take on The Fifth Element or The Transporter Trilogy. Personally, I'd like to see films that have yet to receive the Steelbook treatment (or at least a decent one)... stuff like TrollHunter, The Crow, Unbreakable, Signs, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, Alien vs. Predator 1 & 2... there's just too many. I'd really LOVE to see releases for three of my favourite films; What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Drive and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

My suggestions:

- Drive - of course
- Man of Steel
- Kill Bill - I know its been down to death but i'm sure they could do something special, like the Japanese DVD box set releases.
- Akira
- Wall-E
- King Kong

If Luc Besson is to be a main feature for Kimchi, then:
- The Fifth Element
- District B13
- Taxi - maybe as a collection
- Arthur and the Minimoys trilogy

Either way, i am sure that the selections kimchi make will be great.

Look forward to them all.
