Kimchi Exclusives & Suggestion thread

The Mist.

The film deserves a proper SteelBook release, it could easily have a sharp-looking lenticular slipcover based on the ultra-rare Canadian slipcover and since there's already a Korean release, it shouldn't be hard to acquire the exclusivity rights for a SteelBook package.

Romeo and Juliet (1996) would be nice

I would like to see some titles that are unlikely to get a UK release any time soon. Titles owned by EiV in the UK for example. Since it's unlikely EiV will ever release anything other than standard amarays, we'll have to rely on their International counterparts. American Hustle, Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, Lucky Number Slevin, The Mask, Million Dollar Baby and Silver Linings Playbook are some of my picks. Terminator 3 is another one since Sony don't seem to want to release it here and we desperately need a nice edition to go with the existing releases for the other three films.

I don't mind seeing some classic Hong Kong action movies done right.
Give me The Killer and Hard Boiled. :D

Also Studio Ghibli with awesome artwork that's higher quality than the UK releases, though that may be a bit niche and I do not know what the demographic here would feel about these 'animated' movies. :emb:

For more popular titles I guess I do not mind more Marvel or The Dark Knight Trilogy as 3 separate Steelbooks... Watchmen is one of my favourite superhero movies too.

Do not mind seeing a Quentin Tarantino series with all his films released by KimchiDVD because I am a bit disappointed by the difference the consistency of artwork in my current collection for his films in Steelbook form.

So far KimchiDVD has not disappointed me with their film choices so I have faith that they would come through with all their future releases. Reading the last couple of pages in this thread I do agree I would love for a Truman Show or The Mist Steelbook.

This could make for an awesome lenticular. :naughty:

Hey guys-something like this this has been discussed privately with Kimchi for several weeks (as I noted in Iron Man thread weeks ago) to make the entire pre-order process easier for our community. The thread is not visible because specific details suggested by Kimchi are being mutually reviewed to be sure members' concerns are addressed the best way possible. Thanks.
