You don't need to use Google Translate to register, provided you use the English registration link.
You need to enter both a Celluar phone (mobile) and Telephone number when registering/placing an order, however they can both be the same number (I don't have a home phone number, so always use my mobile number).
Numbers should be entered without a proceeding 0 and you do not need to enter your country code (KimchiDVD add it automatically to your parcel label).

So a UK phone (01452 123123) is specified like this:
Local Area Code : 1452 Phone Number : 123123

A UK mobile (07847 123123) is specified like this:
Local Area Code : 7847 Phone Number : 123123

Q) Do they ship outside of Korea?
A) Yes, worldwide delivery, various shipping options available, for example to UK: (1 x steelbook)

K-Packet is tracked and one Steelbook to UK (with a weight of 450g - which is the typical weight for a lenticular) costs $10.81.
On average it takes around 7 days after dispatch to arrive in the UK - I always use K-Packet when placing orders and my orders have always arrived safely.

I'm not sure if it's insured or not (there's no mention) but assuming you pay via PayPal, their guarantee will cover you if you don't receive your order for some reason.

You can track your K-Packet order using this website, however tracking information isn't always accurate after leaving Korea (e.g. sometimes it doesn't update again before it's delivered, or even after if your postman doesn't bother getting a signature).

Q) What form of packing do they use?
A) Cardboard Box, with enough bubblewrap to keep things safe, see below: (Thanks to SBC28 for pics)

A pretty sturdy box, which seemingly took some damage during shipping.
(These are pretty much always the same boxes.)

Cancellations: Send an email to [email protected], including the number of the order you wish to cancel. He'll get back to you as soon as he can.

Replacements: are issued if in stock, if not a refund will be offered.
Refunds: They are normally processed within a few days.

All those emails back and forth sound like a nightmare for everyone involved. I'm surprised that type of thing even happened. I consider myself very lucky to have placed my order without incident.

I'm really excited about this. I'm predicting another 10/10 Lenti Slip. Equal Caliber to Thor 2. Also, an equal or greater caliber Full Slip than The Wrestler or The Pianist.

I literally cannot wait for these Rush Editions. In the mean time Im gunna get the I-talian Lenti Verson. I already have the US Slip & the UK Rush steel. Thinking about the UK Lenti Slipcover too. :movie:

same here... emailed the tony/kimchi email address that was posted in here immediately after the order on Friday... now .. 4 days later I am still waiting for a reply... :(

I can highly recommend the UK lenticular, it's really nice. I got the UK steel yesterday and have 1 of the full slip and 1 lenticular slip ordered from Kimchi... I don't know if I need the Italian steelbook haha
 
Question: last friday was my first time ordering from Kimchidvd.
I just recently checked my order status and it says canceled.
My paypal payment is still in process however.
Does it normally say that until the payment has been completed?

No - it normally says Receipt of Order if the payment is still being processed. If it says your order has been cancelled then I would send an email to:

[email protected]

As if the order has been axed (for whatever reason) you may require a refund.

For all you guys, like me, that had a receipt of order from Friday....

I contacted Tony.
He sent me an invoice.
Paid it by credit card.
24 hours later showing in my Kimchi account as 'payment' completed.

I managed to get 1 of each variation....so pleased. :thumbs:

Advice...Don't expect Tony to contact you...YOU have to do the chasing!!!

My payments have been completed!!! Thanks to Marcus for the head's up about sending PayPal payment to complete the order, I am now RIDICULOUSLY happy!!! :oohyeah::oohyeah::oohyeah::oohyeah::oohyeah:

More credits to you mate. Payment completed on my order containing 1 x 1/4 slip and 1 x full slip. :)

However, I am wondering if this may lead to cancellation at a later stage once Tony realized that people use this as a workaround and there is no sufficient quantity to fulfill all the orders. Fingers crossed.:ohno:

Your order was complete and accepted, you just hadn't paid for it. So a copy had come out of the inventory for you.

This is where a number of the cancellations clearly end up coming from, as people assume they have paid and do not check their bank accounts. Or they don't know how to fix it.

Apparently I paid by eCheque which takes a few days to process. What should I do, Tony hasn't replied to my emails.
 
Hello guys, please can somebody help me, i have ordered Pianist STEELBOOKS, when i check my order is there wroten wire transaction and order status Receipt of Order. I try to contact Kimchi stuff for help with my order what to do, how to pay it and nobody is answering mi few weeks. Please can you help me how to pay my order??
 
I just checked my order statuses (for the lenticular of this one and full slip the Pianist).
For whatever reasons they both show up as canceled, but my payment is still in process :( (both echecks).
Now that I don't know what's actually happening, I'm stressed.
I sure do hope I'll get them, they are my first kimchi orders and I'd rather have them than my money back.
