Q) How do I register?

You don't need to use Google Translate to register, provided you use the English registration link.
You need to enter both a Celluar phone (mobile) and Telephone number when registering/placing an order, however they can both be the same number (I don't have a home phone number, so always use my mobile number).
Numbers should be entered without a proceeding 0 and you do not need to enter your country code (KimchiDVD add it automatically to your parcel label).

So a UK phone (01452 123123) is specified like this:
Local Area Code : 1452 Phone Number : 123123

A UK mobile (07847 123123) is specified like this:
Local Area Code : 7847 Phone Number : 123123

Q) Do they ship outside of Korea?
A) Yes, worldwide delivery, various shipping options available, for example to UK: (1 x steelbook)

K-Packet is tracked and one Steelbook to UK (with a weight of 450g - which is the typical weight for a lenticular) costs $10.81.
On average it takes around 7 days after dispatch to arrive in the UK - I always use K-Packet when placing orders and my orders have always arrived safely.

I'm not sure if it's insured or not (there's no mention) but assuming you pay via PayPal, their guarantee will cover you if you don't receive your order for some reason.

You can track your K-Packet order using this website, however tracking information isn't always accurate after leaving Korea (e.g. sometimes it doesn't update again before it's delivered, or even after if your postman doesn't bother getting a signature).

Q) What form of packing do they use?
A) Cardboard Box, with enough bubblewrap to keep things safe, see below: (Thanks to SBC28 for pics)

A pretty sturdy box, which seemingly took some damage during shipping.

Cancellations: Send an email to [email protected], including the number of the order you wish to cancel. He'll get back to you as soon as he can.

Replacements: are issued if in stock, if not a refund will be offered.
Refunds: They are normally processed within a few days.

Just a heads up to all people who accidentally "paid" by wire transfer and are stuck on receipt of order.

As recommended by a fellow ninja I went ahead and sent paypal payment to [email protected] on Friday and then emailed him a transaction ID and my order number.

My order has now been updated to Payment Completed.

I would recommend any ninjas in the same position to do the same.

Thaks Marcus, did you receive an email confriming this as well? Or did they simply update your order on your account?
 
1. The software needs to lock the titles in the cart for at least few minutes. Any seasoned IT programmer and designer will implement software this way.

2. Servers need to scale up (vertical or horizontal depending on the budget). Plain and simple. It should be able to cope with x number of concurrent requests or transactions per second.

I emailed Choi regarding this and he told me to wait for Tony's response. My order hasn't been updated yet. Debating on what I should do at this point...
 
Yh I emailed Tony and waiting for a response to. I'm guessing I'm get a response within a couple of days as today would be first day that they've been back since weekend so they'd have a few to get through. With my Thor 2, I got Tony to send me a invoice (through email) and I just had to pay and then email back when I did.


The new package shot of lenticular looks great, I'm still undecided at which I like more full or lenticular.

Kimchi staff will definitely see decreased workload if they implement a more efficient and easier-to-use website. The amount of members here that need to be spoon-fed on what to do with every order they place, will no doubt decrease!

Yes Scott, don't worry. I have order many time with PayPal and I have always got my SB from Kimchi even though I got no email, I believe you get an email if u pay by card.

I have noticed on their Website in my account my original attempt to order the Full Slip
In Cancel/Refund

It has cancel beside this and has Order Status : In Writing the Order

Does their website keep record of failed order attempts listed as In Writing the Order in the Cancel/Refund section

My Order for the Lenticular slip is all ok as that shows Order Completed and Payment Completed

Hey Scott, you'll only get an email once the package ships. As long as you see "payment completed" you have nothing to worry about.

Hasn't anyone ever figured out a way around your cart emptying out or going "null" during the order process? Is there a reason it does this, a certain option you can choose to make it not do that? or is it all based on server traffic and it not registering that you're checking out. I feel like by now Kimchi would have this fixed...been an issue with me last handful of pre-orders...missed out on Thor 1/4 and now Rush full-slip because of this...we all know time is of the essence with these pre-orders...having to re-add the item to the cart only to go to checkout to have it "null" 10 more times continues to kill me.

I also did this but i'm still waiting for an update - still sat at Receipt of Order. Hopefully i'll hear soon!

The desire for Rush was way underestimated. This edition is as popular as kimchi's Thor! Maybe more so.....

I do not know if there is cancellation, here is Sunday.
Kimchidvd will start working from tomorrow.

Most of title like Thor kimchidvd, there is no cancellation until release dates.

I agree with you buddy. If the lenticular of Rush is the same quality as Tangled or Thor 2, then it will be amazing. :scat:

I dont think there will be any cancelations of Rush. It is a very good movie and look at the Uk version (sold out very fast).

I will say that Memento and Wolf of Wall street will be sold out fast.

I received Tony's email today and can confirm my 2 Rush lenticular's have been canceled. (order error). Choi will post when these and others will be available again
