That is a horrible 3D logo, was going to get this, but think i will just buy the 4K instead.
Horrible giant m.f. ape / horrible giant m.f. 3D logo.

I recommend preordering from HMV's site from now on, Their last few exclusive steels have been out of stock or only 1 in stock in my local store, seems their steels really are limited.

Or it could be that most do pre order online causing less stock in stores

Loved this film but the art and finish is bad. Hope to pick this up cheap (from any country) or a premium retailer gives it justice in the future

Just been in to my local HMV and there's LOADS of these steels. I'm going to hold out for a price drop.

If I'm wrong and it sells well.... well it's a pretty uninspiring steelbook so I'm sure I can live without.

It is a very poor steelbook to be honest, i usually do review videos for steels but im not going to bother with this one.

I wanted a steel of this to go with my other king kong and godzilla steels. I just hope they dont F**k up the Wonder Woman steelbook with a massive 3D logo, Suicide squad was a nice steel.

HMV also allocate stock to their individual stores on a sales basis too, the smaller shops or shops with less sales on certain items like steels will get less stock than a London store for example.

Not saying woes local is like that or yours is because it could just be people in woes area are steel lovers or a big fan of the film causing his to have less but it's still something to think about

It's so tricky to tell with HMV (but you can always ask them how much stock they got if they only have 1 on the shelf - they will tell you too)

I got there at 10am, an hour after opening, i cant imagine Kong being sought after due to cruddy art, but there was only 1 copy of the steel and 1 copy of the 4K. With the Logan steelbook it was sold out in an hour so im guessing they are only getting 4-5 copies of each steel now, and the Logan 4K wasnt and still isnt out on display, they are in a draw behind the counter which you cant see.

I think my Local HMV's staff are just lazy and have no idea what they are doing lol

HMV no longer have store security since they were taken over so if your store has a high theft rate then they will keep most behind the counter. Blu ray box sets and steels are hot items to steel from their stores. It's a really big issue. And the staff are not allowed to stop the thieves either!

But not every store will get just 5 copies. I've worked in 2 now and one was in a very big shopping centre. Very busy store and they literally used to get about 50 of each steel whereas the smaller shop i worked in was around 5-8 copies of each.

This was all before online too so the shop that got 50 would most likely get 20(ish) nowadays and the smaller one will probably stick to 4 or 5 and again back to your previous comment it depends on online sales - if it's not selling well then the stores get more

But yeah some staff are clueless and lazy - not all but some are
