I saw the Blu-ray in CeX just the other day for only £4 and almost picked it up then... may have to nip back in at the weekend and pray it's still there!

I'd love to see LA Confidential get a steelbook treatment. The only concern for me is the artwork - I think that this movie didn't have any special artwork that could work for the steel. There is, however, a way to work around this. There is a R3 digi that looks stunning - http://www.discjunkie.se/index.php?page=viewdetails&id=187 . If only they would use some of the photos included there...

ANY movie that was up for ANY Oscars should AUTOMATICALLY be on Blu ray...let alone steelbook. It should be a LAW!...(The California steelbook statute of 2015 usurping previous AMPAS blu ray prohibition!)
I mean- BUGSY was one of the greatest movies of the last 30 years (along with L.A. Confidential), and it isn't even on Blu ray!
