Zavvi did not get an exclusive for the steelbook, it was a UK wide Release (Amazon, HMV, Zavvi...).

Thanks for the correction! but ya, there was something about the back artwork from the UK release that made it more magical than the other steelbook releases.

The Logan Special Box, was it included in the Boxset ? How did that work ?

I was expecting artwork to be completely different to the WWA release after all that waiting

Same front artwork as the WWA with different colour shade going by the mock up
Back artwork yes is different

This is my problem but I was really looking forward to this and now I’m disappointed. But if I skip it then my manta collection won’t be complete

Agreed! I’d like to see inside artwork. If it’s scene where they are waltzing among the stars at the Griffith Observatory, that’d be perfect.

It's such a shame the studio was so difficult for Manta.

I'm imagining a beautiful lenti slip of them in the Observatory, floating through the stars...

I would of gone for the special box if it had a lenti magnet on the front like they did with Logan

If it had the lenti slip imaged used as a magnet then that would be cool

I'm pretty sure that the steelbook will have a superb finish, Manta does that so well.

The WWA steelbook sold out very quickly worldwide I would not be surprised if you see another trade wide steelbook release with new artwork at some point

Never say never! Manta obviously went through a bit of a delay due to the studio being difficult, so I imagine the same goes for anyone else looking to release a premium edition for this film... I know of at least one other retailer who's hoping to do one anyway.
