Pretty good. Severance is better than anticipated and Nightcrawler has both Dolby Vision AND Atmos upgrades so a nice release.
Good to hear with Severance. I'll definitely be picking both up at some point. I've just finished watching Triangle, another of Christopher Smiths films. I'd worry about a 4k upgrade on that one, as great as it is, I think the ocean scenes at the beginning wouldn't do so well. Great film though. I have the Umbrella releases for Severance, Triangle & Creep so I only really want 4k discs to pop in. I did see you get a poster and cards for Severance 4k though... good quality?

Picked Severance up for £20, so yes good value with the slip, postcards and poster. Very similar in content to the 'Strange Darling' release.always nice to have some 'treats' included, as opposed to some of the more 'bare boned' releases we're now getting. Just purchased the standard 4K release of 'One battle after another'. No blu ray disc, no extras so as stripped back as is possible. Just got tired of waiting for the overdue steelbook released with the bonus content...

Only have a few but the Umbrella releases I have are gorgeous... The raid, Hounds of love, Talk to me, Dogma... top quality and proof that well execute special editions don't need to include steelbooks...

Hounds of Love is a serious film man. I think it's super underrated and needs more attention. Dark subject. Very dark. Well directed of course; for me though the stars awarded to this film are purely for all three leads. They are fantastic. It's one of the best psychological dramas (I don't think it's a thriller necessarily) in the last 25 years. I'm surprised some influencer hasn't championed it. You know those youngsters love discovering films and highlighting them for their cultist followers.

Top top film. Anyone reading this post. Watch Hounds of Love.

A painfully hard watch that is so beautifully executed. It shows very little but enough to inform the viewer of the absolute horror that is taking place behind closed doors...
Australian indie cinema is up there with UK indie cinema in terms of gritty realism, unapologetic and downright gritty...
This is the sort of stuff labels like Second Sight should be focusing on, although the Umbrella edition is seriously gorgeous..

@leelee17 have you seen Relic?

Another Aussie banger. Psychological horror about dementia. Brilliant stuff.
