What was the last movie you saw in theater or the next one you plan on seeing?

When the Game Stands Tall
First half was a bit jumbled, but the direction solidified in the second half. And during the credits there are clips of the real coach Ladouceur--very inspiring man.

What If
Quirky, kind of charming romantic comedy. But Daniel Radcliffe is such an awkward dude.

Does anyone on these forums besides me and @psychoscot watch anything besides action movies? (That reminds me that I watched Boyhood last week. I'd definitely watch it again and it's certainly an achievement that Linklater was able to pull something like this off.)

Just watched The F Word last night (or "What if" to people outside Canada... "The F word" is a much better title IMO).

I actually really really liked it! Loved that it was set in Toronto (could make a nice double feature with Scott Pilgrim). And I thought the chemistry between Daniel Radcliffe and Zoe Kazan was great! Maybe I just haven't seen a good Rom-Com in a while, but this is for sure worth seeing.

@RekLess I think most people like to go to the theater to see big action movies for the "experience" and save the smaller stuff for at home. Makes sense really, tickets can be pretty expensive, why spend the money on something that you don't need to see on a big screen. But you are not alone. If a film looks good, i try to see it regardless of its action factor. Boyhood is on the TOP of my list to see (Sadly the closest theater playing it is 45 mins away so its really hard to make the effort).

@RekLess My wife and I have a monthly subscription for our local cinema chain.
So we try to see most films that are showing, no matter the genre as it feels like we get more value for money.

Yep, I've always watched a lot of movies on the theater, but I still saved some for the small screen. That was until about a year ago, when my local theater started doing $5 Tuesdays. $5 is a really hard price to pass up for a movie ticket. So now I see the majority of films on the big screen.

I pulled a double today of The Guest (hence the avatar change - it was swell) and Guardians of the Galaxy. Not really into the Superhero stuff at all for the most part but I thought this was pretty good, mainly because of the humour and excellent soundtrack.
