Totally agree Pud, Sherlock Holmes A Game of Shadows, which I saw last Wednesday, really rocks :scat: Nothing to do with Conan Doyle, but uses the characters well. Rollicking good film.

I saw Young Adult yesterday and enjoyed it somewhat. It had some laughs to it but man, it's kind of sad how vulnerable and pathetic people can be. Maybe it's more sad that I wanted something tragic to happen in the film lol.

The last movie I got to see at the cinema was last Halloween where my local cinema did a screening of Ghosbusters :naughty:

Hugo 3d for me. I actually didn't know about the movie, but my film friends on FB kept talking about it so I checked it out and was quite surprised. I did not know it was about film, and the 3D was actually quite good. Will definitely be getting a Steel of this ;)

seriously

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2D)

hardly go anymore. only for the big blockbusters or something me and the mrs both really want to see

**EDIT**

just bloody remembered!!!

me and my buddys got together for xmas and saw Flash Gordon on the big screen at The Prince Charles in London

how could i forget that!!!! hahaha

Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol. Enjoyed it way more than I was expecting. The whole of the Dubai section was a perfect example of how to build and sustain a setpiece (that there were THREE such setpieces in that sequence was icing!)

Went to see this last week and was very satisfied...Its not Sherlock from the books but its definitely a interesting take on the character.....Visually stunning - was watching the running through forest scene with opened mouth EEK! Score was not as good as in the first one but I'm glad Hans Zimmer kept the Sherlock theme. Overall an awesome movie and I already can't wait for a steelbook or some special edition release.

Last movie I saw in cinema was In Time.Very nice idea as a concept but something was missing from the movie , and casting Justin Timberlake wasn't their best choice in my opinion.

OK,
I saw Haywire last night too, not as action packed as i thought it was going to be. the movie was different, but it was good. some people arent going to like it. it was done differently, not big budget.

I will say this, Gina is amazing, the fighting sequences were awesome.

Last one was MI4: Ghost Protocol, didn't expect much and was pleasantly surprised. Not amazing, but great fun none the less.

Underworld Awakening-AWESOME full stop. 3D was fantastic and the action sequences were, in 2 words 'bad ass'. Good continuity of the story-this one has teeth-much more intense and action-packed than the others, imo. BD Steelbook purchase guaranteed. Kate is BACK!

Absolutely agree, can't wait for the next one!

My last film seen was 'The Grey'. I really enjoyed it, the wolves were very well done and Liam Neeson is a terrific actor.

The ending left something to be desired, but a solid 4/5 imo
