You're not crazy and I do see your point about not opening and the slip covering the artwork but for me personally the 3D version looks the best but they both are beautiful.
Maybe I'm choosing the 3D one because I'm already getting the FS one and the steelbook so I don't have the need to see the artwork.
Not sure if it has been mentioned but besides the Title, the following parts are EMBOSSED on the slipcover:
The entire outline of Hulk
Almost the entire outline of Captain A plus the shield
The heads of Thor and Iron Man

Just my Avengers Viva Box from Best Buy...
Just got back from my local Best Buy.
Was able to pick up 2 Cinderellas.
Missed out on The Avengers at that store but may have a line on one at a Best Buy near by. Will report back.

Yes it's very sexy! It's embossed w/ a matte black finish. I'm glad it was still available at JBHifi, and I think it still is... it's pricey, but I had to get it lol.
