I prefer the full slip, even tho the back is different more than the zavvi release. The full slip and Korean text separates the release even more. It also adds to its uniqueness as a Korean release. I say more power to it. Can't wait to have this in hand.

I hope KimchiDVD releases a SteelBook for Speed one day that's similar to this Léon package. I know that both films came from different distributors, but I've been dying for a proper Speed SteelBook forever and that new U.K. one is absolutely disgusting. KimchiDVD, in my opinion, is the absolute BEST retailer at the moment for SteelBooks. They're just stunning!

Léon and Speed were probably my two favourite action films of the 1990s. Man, I miss the '90s. They were the absolute best for action flicks. :scat:

I was About to pull the trigger last night, for $58.00 with shipping. Then I pulled my Zavvi copy and examined it. Followed by moments of silence. I don't need to double dip this, I thought. I have it already. I closed the page, put the phone down. Close one. Little Natalie Portman holdin her brothers teddy bear and a gun almost had me for a second. And then I remembered: No women & children!

Comparing this to the UK version is like comparing the Zavvi Thor with the HMV one lol. Cancelled my Zavvi order the second the full Mock up went up for this :D

Come on dude! We are steelbook collectors not remastered edition collectors...I think you should keep your order or you're gonna regret it later. :naughty:

Actually, no. The same old crappy disc stuck in a shiny tin is what irks me most about being a collector. If a film is deemed worthy of the steelbook treatment then it should be deemed worthy of a decent transfer also.

+1

Disc content must be as impressive as the packaging for me to bite otherwise I'll just stick with the aramay

Hence why I haven't bought hardly any catalogue titles, just recycled discs with bonus discs missing in some cases.

I got the UK Leon and whilst I love the packaging (Luc Besson collection aramay) the US disc features 96Khz upsampled audio which is worth the upgrade for me)
