The white background doesn't go well with the rest of the steelbook. And there's so much blackness with the black backgrounds front and back.

Can't understand why this is a black and/or white steelbook treatment. Very boring covers for such a good movie. Gonna pass on this. Prefer my US Amaray cover. Why pay so much for steelbooks just to get black/white covers which don't enhance the artwork?

No embossed border anymore...having second thoughts, now. I rather like the embossed borders. Oh well.

Regardless, it's great these guys are working with the HDN community, and actually taking suggestions into genuine consideration. Thanks again, Choi!

Out of the two on there now my choice would be artwork number 2, but IMO the poll isn't fair now as it contains the choices of the first poll done for the other artworks

I like everything about the new one (current poll choice #2), but I wouldn't mind the text font of the previous mockup (the font type in Hella's post above). I like Leon in the "N" too. No matter the final font, Option #2 is what many commenters wanted. Full gloss with debossed title, color front, white background on the back cover. "The Professional" dropped. Personally, I like The Professional, but so many people want it removed, that I don't mind.

All in all, this Kimchi Leon is shaping up to be a real winner and will be THEE Leon steelbook to get as a collector.

I really like the plant on spine #1. It's a nice touch. I haven't voted, because I'll buy either of those and I'm not familiar enough with the finishes to understand what a full gloss vs. a matte/gloss combo would look like. It seems like people really prefer the full gloss.

ah yes, the spine plant, what good eyes you have

I'm going to hate myself for saying this, but I think this is going to be a pass for me.

I love this film dearly, and never get tired of watching it, but I'm rapidly falling out of love with the cover. Too many cooks ...
