It doesn't seem to matter what value you request, I've always had mine marked at $25 even if I request a lower value. Seems to defeat the purpose of giving you the option.

Is this true? I thought I read somewhere here that they do honour your request of a lower value. Do you have to email tony separately to do this in addition to ticking the box and filling in desired value during the ordering process. Info would be highly appreciated.

I've always just tried it via the page that "offers" it. The parcels are always marked as $25 regardless of what I choose. Sometimes they get through customs ok, other times not so much.
