I used Kimchis option of marking down the total on the package at a lower price (to avoid such customs entanglements!!) and also changing the actual invoice to match it.

Did none of you do this, or is customs still wise to what's going on? :(

Translated the Korean text at the end mate and it comes out as "Invoice errors"
Hey well done mate, do you think they've sussed that kimchi allow us to change the invoice amounts? Seems like it to me

Customs getting wise mate! I order stuff online from outside Europe all the time and they are getting very wise to whats going on.

they are keeping an eye on these forums and doing test buys at Asian Retailers-they do exactly know what`s going on,Mate-:(

Yep, plus they will search online for the product, and an exclusive item like this is not hard to track. UK Customs are utter b*stards. They will even try and charge you sometimes when there are no charges. They send threatening letters and most people are scared so pay up, without checking to see who's in the right.

i got a package from an American Ninja Buddy-it was a Gift from him-they wanted to charge me. I told them it is a Gift-they didin`t care about it-told me i had to pay up to € 40 Import Fees for three Steels-i refused it and told them to send it back-:angry:One Steel had a price Tag of $20- they searched on Amazon and offered me a Price of € 74,99 because now- it was an import Steel because of a missing Invoice .

If this is any help, I now ask them to declare package as Merchandise and put the value as USD15.00, now I know it works as before I got hit by customs for 9 steels over a period of a couple of months where I put them as gift.

Now, fingers crossed the last 4 I have not!

They tried that when I received a baseball jacket from a family member in the US. Sent senior management at customs a very threatening letter and they soon sent me my jacket. When challenged at a higher level they will soon give in. It's a con they hope won't be challenged. When it is and you "know" your in the right they will back off.

German customs don`t care what`s written on the CN22-they want an Invoice on the outside of the Package.Otherwise you`ll meet them in Person-i did-the last 4 Times in a row-had to show them the original Invoice(PayPal) and smiley had to pay again

That just proves they know what's going on
It may be a case of now when you order from kimchi you will have to work out your customs fees as well

They've sussed the gift option there doesn't have to be many boxes from Kimchi or other retailers marked gift that will go through for them to realise they aren't really gifts.
Having said all this
To get back on topic Looking forward to receiving Leon even if it's going to cost me more than anticipated
