Similar to Dirty Harry, I'll wait for a 4k set. If it doesn't happen I'll still have the blu rays.

Glad it'll include DC, as I didn't buy the previous Blu-rays either, except for a steelbook of the first, because they were theatrical only.

I want every part in such CE boxset!

The Director's Cut DVD (not actually a true director's cut, but a marketing promotion by Warner Bros.) features seven minutes of additional footage.

In a new trailer scene, Riggs smashes his TV with a beer bottle; later he buys a new one. Murtaugh, before partnering with Riggs, goes to practice at the firing range. Riggs, before the dope shoot out, answers a call in a school yard with a sniper. Riggs walks out into the line of fire and kills the sniper, emptying his clip into him. Riggs, after leaving Murtaugh's house, goes out to solicit a prostitute. The aftermath is not shown, but Riggs says he wants to take her home to watch The Stooges with him; for this he pays her $100.

Aren't those the same scenes that are in the "deleted scenes" section on the Blu-ray in the last SteelBook released in 2022?

Just see what could be the artwork and it’s absolutely awful lol.

Getting cancelled if it comes with that

Instead of demonstrating how menacing Mr Joshua is by calling him over and melting his arm off with a lighter, his boss could just whip out this steelbook and see how long he can stare at it for before saying “that’s s***e”.

How long did it take them to come up with that thing?
