Just got back from the local shop and found out we have a release here.
Pre-order started.

Same with lenticular cover as stated.

This title was released here today in Singapore. The lenticular 3D magnet is stick on to the front cover. (Just like the Avatar 3D Germany MM)

Many stocks available but no free gift this time.
Photo will be updated by blackberry when he gets his stocks.

It looks very nice at hand but the QC of this batch is not very good quite a lot of small issues. It took me quite a while to pick the best copies.

I suspect this could be handling issue, as they (the retailer) never handle this kind of lenti card on steelbook before. Like the TDKR lenticular (amaray) version, quite a lot of them were scratched.

I seen a few at LAserFlair Tampines and they are in great shape.

Its not easy to take a great picture of a steelbook with lenticular front under shrink wrap!! I am sure it will look great in hand.

This begs for a Willow glossy finish. MM 3D ones are super glossy. I would be extremely disappointed if this was matte finished but looks like it is based on the caps posted above. Why matte finishing on big releases?

1. Terminator
2. TDKR
3. Prometheus
4. Life of Pi??

A Steelbook should look beautiful and shining both in hand and on camera. Otherwise it is not a quality Steelbook IMO.

And it's quite good without the back data-sheet and see the back art even without opening it....

I don't know what is glossy OR matte. BUT i know - this is STEELBOOK with Malay subtitle + more cheaper than other versions

That pretty much explains why it looks so dull. It might look better in hand but this is another missed opportunity. Even if you capture under bright lighting in a good camera this will never shine due to it's finishing. Look at Willow, Resident Evil Retribution, Amazing Spiderman and the Paramount Steels. That's how this should have looked.
