Received my package from JSDVD and I had 5 steelbooks and 2 LOF bags (gift), massive box and no custom thanks god, they have actually wrote on the custom slip "promo discs not for resale" as well as gift etc as requested, I personally never got hit by customs from JSDVD (don't want to jinx myself now lol) and I have ben ordering from them for years (back in DVD time too), cople of months ago I got another large box with 5 steels inside again nothing, I'm not complaining of course hehe but just saying it's all about luck I guess, nothing to do with 1 steelbook ot 5+ :)

Anyway got this beauty and I love it (will most likely remove those silly promo stickers), I really dig the yellow slip, it's sweeeeet even for amaray with slip, had to get it :)

And TW VS KR (TW wins hands down no doubt about it):

Yeah I like the amaray art too. It's far more representative of the film to me.

Out of interest mate do you have your items shipped EMS or regular airmail? It seems incredible to me that you've never been tapped by Customs. I get hit every other package, and the latest one has been stuck under inspection for 10 days now. The interference from HMRC on JSDVD shipments is getting so bad I'm thinking of switching my Taiwanese orders entirely to YesAsia, whose shipments never get seized or held up.

EMS all the time mate that's probably why no!! ;)

Got the letter from Parcel Force asking me to pay 21 to release the package (7.5 import duty which is fine and 13.5 handling fee...why? why?).
Really feel for you guys, the funny thing is the delivery lady called me outside my parents house (as I'm never at my house when they attempt to deliver) asking me if anybody home to drop the parcel so I was like hell yeah wait let me call them and find out then get back to you :hilarious:

The box was huge man but thanks god it's all good, now don't go report me to PF guys :hilarious:

Guys i hate customs!
Ps, quick question, when someone leaves you a card to collect something, how can you tell what it is?

Bad news mate but at least they've released your parcel now. At this rate my Hobbit order will be shipping with the LOP package still stuck in customs! :(

This handling fee drives me crazy. If I pay the fee then I would have spent 100 for 2 of these Steels. This is a mighty 61 above the amount I spent to buy the UK version at Tesco.

Few hours ago I saw Taken 2 TW sell for 27 including shipping which is less than ordering from JSDVD or yesasia. I am thinking of sourcing these Steels via eBay as you get the best deals if you are patient and lucky.

I got an idea. We could try a GB by buying in bulk so that we can split the fee cost. This is more like damage limitation. Instead of paying 10 extra per Steelbook we could end up in paying 5 or maybe less depending on the number of participants. It should be fine with paying the VAT as it won't be a big amount if the declared value is less.

I placed an order on JSDVD, but there are 47 different shipping options!?!?

Some are 1100 Taiwanese Dollars, others are as low as 250, but they all look the same?!?!

Help, what's the difference, which one should I choose for Europe/Netherlands!? :p

1100 means EMS expedite shipping to UK and other cheap one means small parcel shipping to UK

so you can choose shipping speed
EMS usually deliver 3-5days all over the world
Small general parcel deliver 14-30 days all over the world

Guys just click on the UK flag for English friendly website and then after you log in change the currency from TWD to your preffered: pounds/dollars etc from the Currencies drop-down list on the left sidebar and then just add item & process payment etc :)

This is true and something you'll likely see more of given that Taiwan releases aren't exactly limited now, and are struggling to sell out for the most part.
