Me too.
Very surprised by this as I only ordered it a week before release.
I thought you paid the lowest price between you ordering and it shipping.
Not the lowest price that it ever was.

Happy anyway!

mines just arrived and slashed spine :( from amazon. i better contact them now

EDIT:

Just contacted them on live chat and got 15% refund. Its better than nothing but the slash is still annoying.

I received my copy today from Amazon. It looks amazing in hand and is definitely up there amongst the best in my collection. I haven't seen this yet so I'm looking forward to giving it a watch at the weekend and seeing if it's any good.

I like the design of this steel, I think the color is pretty unique for a steelbook. I might be wrong that it hasn't been done before but I've never seen a steel with the same color and design like this before.

Mine arrived in perfect condition from sainsbury's today, which is a big relief.
It's also my first 3D blu ray. All I need is a 3D capable TV now!

One step at a time though.

So, received my copy from Zavvi today. Weirdly, the lenticular magnet seems to have moved from its original position and is now lodged at the top of the steelbook instead of the normal position (the debossed part) lol! Couldn't have happened during transit as the steel was packed in their new box packing as well EEK!

I love the slip on this, though now it looks like I have two Pi's and two Richard Parkers on my steelbook :hilarious:
