That is correct. Someone confirmed that they had the Italian version in hand and it did not have the lenticular magnet. He also posted pics of it.

Yep there's an Italian guy with a fridge-ful of Pi magnets on the loose somewhere. But seriously if Amazon send it out looking like the Italian one, they can have it back.

That's the worrying part for me. All others that have the lenticular are Asian releases (including India).

Will not order this until I see actual pictures first.

Pretty sure that's the Italian one. It's the only version without a lenticular.

Even if they'd received the stock (unlikely at this early stage), they wouldn't be allowed to ship it. Retailers in the UK are bound by strict terms of supply which means they can't distribute blu rays and DVDs in advance of their release dates. So yes, any shipping emails are bogus.

I don't think the uk will have a lent cover but I'm still keeping mine anyway, plus I don't really like lent covers on steels that much but I do think this one looks nice with it, its most likely just the asian ones that have the lent steels.

It could have a lent cover but I have my doubts though since the italian one didn't, the gd thing about the uk pic on amazon is that it looks more like it does have it rather than the pic on amazon italy.

I don't care about lenticular cover as I paid 19.5. The other versions with lenticular cover is double this price.

regular price on amazon for hobbit steelbook was 18GBP
regular price on amazon for life of pi steelbook was 23GBP

so there should be something special !

Not so much the price, more the fact that an embossed border with nothing in the middle looks daft and did so when I saw the Italian version.
