Lovely steelbook in hand, its a smooth finish and the characters on the front including horses are spot gloss.

Top notch steel, I can compare video transfer tomorrow.

I know the Steelbox will offer extra bonus features compared to the 2015 version, but any news on the transfer? Should we expect the same as 2015, or an upgrade?

I have compared the two, and they look damn near identical to me. If the older release was say a 100 (which it obviously never was... tv movie/series and all) but if it was a 100 ... then the mill creek video quality I'd rank at like a 95 from the few chapters I compared. Heck maybe even 98 ... it looked pretty spot on the same as both had/have small issues.

Compared the special features and appears they are all same. Old release might have 1 or 2 max extra but seems same just some small name changes.

Old release did have 2 extra audio options if you don’t want English

Just iPhone X shots... but trust in that from my eyes pretty much identical at least from spot checking. Seems like those interested who don’t own and can play region A should likely buy.
