Word of caution from an UK HDN Member about HMV (thanks VRob98)

HMV now in administration said:
People should just be aware of 2 things:

1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund

2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

Available to pre-order right now.
Release date: January 28, 2013
Purchase Link: Amazon.co.uk
Note: No inside art (see post #443)

Excellent news!

£18 is better. still not as good as play.coms £14.99 price point (e.g the raid, lawless)
hmv need to join the fray, and get some exclusive back catalogue titles for around a tenner. that would destroy everyones bank account lol.

Im definitely going to get a steel for this movie. Ill wait before I preorder tho. Gotta see a mock up and if any other countries get one (US hopefully but most likely not :))

Is this final cover or place holder?

I'm pretty sure someone over at BD.com quickly scratched that up to use as a "placeholder" for their own site, as they've done similar looking ones in the past (Expendables 2). Could be a good chance that HMV do go with the original poster art though.

Usually 4K. Avengers was meant to be 8K or 20K but it says deleted in the website though it is available for 20 quid in-store.

HMV's exclusives must be way higher than 4000, Id say 10,000 at a minimum they have around 300 shops in the UK, 4000 units would only give them 13 steelbooks per store and nothing for the online sales....
