Word of caution from an UK HDN Member about HMV (thanks VRob98)

People should just be aware of 2 things:

1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund

2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

I reckon it's a case of those photos not doing the steelbook justice. The angle + lighting they've been taken in probably doesn't help. I expect it to look a lot better in hand. Still looking forward to receiving mine.

And the purple colour looks a bit washed out compared to the promo pictures.

I still think the FS and French versions tramp all over this effort.

rest assured they were taken by a crappy photographer, point and click on auto settings is about all I can do without getting frustrated...... it is a touch darker than in the pics, I just don't know how to set up good lighting without day light

I think this one has a better design, but the FS version looks much better overall and of course has some inside artwork. I'm glad I didn't grab this for £18 now.
