New to Canada.. It's no different saying that really than saying "exclusive" for the Dark knight rises or other steelbooks.
I am torn again, I was going to get Ted and pass on this for awhile but I am not sure I want to spend $50 on Ted and this would be a lot cheaper, plus I love the look of this steel (could care less for that magnet thing I think look cheesy).
What they should do is either do like the germans do and debossed it and put the lenti in there or they should have a full slipcover over the steelbook. A regular slip or a lenticular would be nice.
Now that would have the possibility of blowing our minds!

I still think its very lazy with the lenticular magnet just being placed on the front and no debossing to allow it to sit flush like the MM steelies from Germany

IMHO, this Steelbook looks great without the lenticular magnet. The inside artwork is amongst the best I have seen. See how it shines through the plastic. Compare the inside artworkt with Terminator Play.com which looks abysmal.
Is this steel unique having different artwork under the magnet?
It's a lazy effort, because it looks nothing like the original post.Tthis looks like they ran out of time, so they just threw the lenticular piece on the steel and bagged it. It's too bad, because the artwork is awesome. And it is going to be a PITA storage wise.
from the slip on the actual steelbook itself since the sealed wrapping is keeping a 24-7 constant pressure between the slip and the case.it would've been better to have a real border like the media markt steels tp prevent this.i would be hesitant to buy this sealed after a year or so.it could be a very challenging effort to remove these "ghostly" lines underneath.so if you're keeping this stored sealed, just be aware.with the lenticular slip "roaming freely" in there,i think there's a very good possibility that over time, you will see an "imprint",some linesfrom the slip on the actual steelbook itself since the sealed wrapping is keeping a 24-7 constant pressure between the slip and the case.it would've been better to have a real border like the media markt steels tp prevent this.i would be hesitant to buy this sealed after a year or so.it could be a very challenging effort to remove these "ghostly" lines underneath.so if you're keeping this stored sealed, just be aware.
as far as the execution of the steelbook, design aside,i believe you have to give this a thumbs up or a passing grade for sure since it covers all of the criteria you need for a released steelbook, clean front and back, inside cover, etc.
because of that, this should be fully supported by the steelbook community.
is it going down as one of my favs of all time? probably not but will definitely end up in my collection.
